Updates from Owning the Dash: May 2026

Owning the Dash Monthly Update
Helping Families Build Financial Confidence One Lesson at a Time
This month, Owning the Dash continued expanding childhood financial literacy outreach through national presentations, new educational resources, and interactive learning tools designed for families and educators.

Author Anthony Delauney Presents to 300+ Financial Advisors
This past month, Owning the Dash author Anthony Delauney attended an Ameriprise regional conference and presented to more than 300 financial advisors about the importance of childhood financial literacy and multi-generational financial education.
The presentation focused on how advisors can use the Owning the Dash books, financial literacy kit, classroom activities, and family resources to help families start meaningful conversations about money early in life.
One of the most encouraging takeaways from the event was seeing how many advisors are looking for ways to strengthen relationships with families by creating educational experiences that involve both parents and children together.
Financial literacy is not just about numbers. It is about confidence, communication, habits, and helping future generations build stronger financial foundations.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, attended the presentation, and shared ideas on how childhood financial literacy can continue expanding into communities nationwide.
