Economic Council Events
Real Stories. Real Learning. Real Money Skills.
We’re proud to share that our partnerships with six state Councils on Economic Education are gaining incredible momentum! Teacher training sessions are now underway, led by passionate educators who are ready to bring Owning the Dash stories and lesson plans into their classrooms.
The Arizona Council on Economic Education, Economic Arkansas, and the Mississippi Council on Economic Education are each preparing full-day Owning the Dash seminars. These sessions will equip teachers to use our books to teach financial literacy in a way that’s engaging, practical, and memorable.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone helping make this possible. Together, we’re giving teachers the tools to bring money lessons to life for their students.

Mom’s Choice Interview
Anthony Shares the Story Behind the Stories
Anthony recently sat down to discuss Owning the Dash and his latest award-winning book, Iver and Luke and the Friends-for-Others Club— a heartfelt tale where two siblings step up to help their injured mom and, in the process, learn powerful lessons about money and community.
His broader mission? To grow Owning the Dash, LLC into a leading national resource for parents, teachers, and financial advisors. Through books, tools, and hands-on activities, the company is dedicated to building financial literacy skills in children across the country.
Each title in the Owning the Dash Kids’ Series teaches a core financial concept. With over 20 years of experience as a financial advisor, Anthony brings real-world insight into stories that both educate and entertain.
